Overall it’s not bad provided you have the Fitbit premium option, workouts are good and varied, monitors sleep patterns how much you move in a day, your water intake etc but as a pedometer it is rubbish, worn on the wrist so any movement of the arm registers as steps, if you sweep the back yard it registers steps walked, paint a wall again steps walked, otherwise it’s very good 4 stars because of the false reading on the pedometer side of things, but overall I’m very pleased and would buy again.

I was a little sceptical to say the least, as to how a Fitbit could really help me improve my health and achieve my goal of losing weight. However once I had familiarised myself with it’s operation and data. I could suddenly see why I had found it hard to lose weight previously.

A lack of sleep due to work commitments, didn’t seem such as big issue, just part of an every day life style. That was till I started to analyse the sleep tracking feature in detail and how working in an office had eradicated any form of physical exercise.

The Fitbit helped me remedy these two simple things and along with a calorie consoled diet I was down 22lbs in 4 weeks. A result being able to also pair it with my iPhone and Strava. Being able to see how my my performances improved over 4 weeks time and pace wise. Really works to inspire you to push yourself harder. I would add that you do need to subscribe to a premium account. I would definitely recommend fitbit

This is the 7th Fitbit we have bought for our family.
There are many other cheaper trackers available in the market, but Fitbit App is what makes all the difference. The amount of data they have from billions of users across the globe makes their software the most reliable and useful.

This is a replacement I bought for an older model, so already trusted the brand. Great item and love all the features. Enjoying the year’s free premium membership- really insightful. Excellent!

I’ve had Fitbit products before but as I only want to track steps, sleep and heart rate I didn’t see the point in spending loads of money. This fits the job nicely. The wristband isn’t white – it’s more cream which I don’t like so I’ve ordered a black band from the Fitbit site (only £9.99 in sale). All in all a good little tracker.

It’s not bad and pretty affordable, the range of stuff the app tracks is quite useful, the step tracker is pretty accurate (I’d estimate to about 10%) and the heart rate monitor checks out well against a manual pulse count, sleep tracker seems pretty accurate too.

Downsides are, it’s a little thick so if you wear shirts that are tight at the cuff it’s a pain pulling the sleeve back to read it as it sticks to the soft silicone strap. The screen is terrible in daylight, you have to cover it to read it although inside it’s pretty clear. The most frustrating one is that if you do exercise the heart rate monitor can be slow to respond to sudden increases, I can be on an exercise bike for 1.5 minutes before the HR starts to climb beyond 80-90bpm despite the bike showing it as 130+

The tap to wake function can be pernickety so I usually just squeeze the sides to wake it.

All in all though it’s not bad, I’m not training for the olympics and I just wanted to keep a basic record of my activity and resting heart rate which it does well enough, room for improvement but for the price it does the job.

Edit: battery life is 7-10 days without GPS assist turned on.

I wanted a basic fitness tracker; steps & heartrate, and with a good battery life. It’s sensitive and records movement well, unlike my previous FitBit, and heartrate seems accurate enough. I don’t use it as a sleep tracker, so I can’t say if that function is any good.
Stylish pink, slightly thicker/bulkier than I expected but still fine. I’d like the app to show a monthly calendar instead of having to scroll through days, but otherwise fine. Good value.

Upgraded from a very cheap fitness tracker. Overall I’m very pleased with it, and it would have got more stars apart from some annoying issues. The free app is very good, but almost all the sleep tracking data is only available with the subscription version. The tracker is easy to use and intuitive, and the app is super easy. The app effortlessly syncs with others such as Nutracheck. The battery lasts ages; I charge it so rarely I can’t even remember how often. My old tracker turned on by touching the screen, this you have to touch the sides. Probably not an issue for most people, but in my job I often wear gloves, and needing to see the time to set digital displays, I used to turn my old screen on with my chin; weird I know! My biggest issue with the tracker is that it’s impossible to see the screen in daylight, especially bright sunlight. I can live with the other little niggles, but if they could fix this issue it would be almost perfect.
