These are a very small tablet and the dosage states 2 a day so you get enough to last 90 days so they are good value. With the tablets being small they are easy to swallow and don’t taste too bad.
I can recommend them.

I’m normally a devotee of Earth’s Nurture Lion’s Mane capsules, as I’ve found them far more effective than other brands. However, these tablets from New Leaf appear to be just as good – and on top of that, they contain double the dose at 2,000mg (meaning I am taking just one tablet per day, although the box recommends two) and are half the price.
Very small hard tablets, very easy to swallow. Tasteless.
Really help to increase focus and level out the mind, cutting anxiety and depression.

I’ve recently started taking these lion’s mane supplements, as I’ve wanted to try them for a while after hearing so many good things about incorporating lions mane mushrooms into your diet. The Lions mane mushrooms supposedly boosts brain function and has been linked to preventing/helping Alzheimers, anxiety, depression etc. I’ve heard good things about using it to improve focus too. I believe it takes a few weeks to feel the benefits so it’s too early to say, but this contains 180 small tablets so should last 90 days if taking the 2-tablet dose. I’ve been taking 1 tablet, as they seem very high strength and I’d rather build up gradually if necessary. This seems like a good quality supplement and I’m looking forward to feeling the benefits.

I am really struggling with severe ADHD symptoms right now. I’m at the start of an NHS assessment waiting list (only 2 more years to go woohoo). Anyway out of pure desperation I bought these on a whim. For a long time I have struggled with bad memory, mental mathematics and the ability to concentrate on anything at all. Within 2 days of starting these I cleaned my depression pit, decluttered and took care of some basic life admin that I was putting off for months. I mean it could be a coincidence and that after literally years feeling trapped in my own brain and unable to concentrate on anything basic these supplements are taking all the credit (for now). Thank you whomever is in charge. Please feel free to ask me to test any other supplements that may help alleviate ADHD/ADD symptoms.
I truly am grateful.
On a practical side they’re small and easy to swallow which is good as the smell very…earthy maybe 🤔.

This is the second Lions mane supplement that I have tried. They have a mild stimulatory effect for me in terms of alertness and mood, like a milder version on caffeine but without the side effects.
These seem to have a slightly milder effect than the previous ones I’ve tried which were in a larger capsule form but these are cheaper and more easy to swallow with the smaller capsules. Overall I’d recommend if you wang to give Lions mane a try.

I hadn’t heard of Lion’s Mane until very recently and my interest was aroused for the advertised health benefits, supported by research.
Easy to swallow and not expensive for 3 months supply. This is the “must have” for the over 60s, to help the brain.

I have been taking mushrooms for a considerable period due to their extraordinary effects on my anxiety, depression, and brain/ cognitive health.
The recommendation is to take two capsules daily. Contrary to the advice, I only take one because I also take a mushroom complex that includes Reishi. It would be wasteful to take more, and as such, the jar will last me two months.
The supplement is contained in an amber-coloured tub, which can be easily recycled. It is a good quality supplement, evident from the ingredient`s purity and presentation. I will continue using the products for as long as I can!
Below, I am sharing some of the research on Lion`s Mane.
Lion’s mane is a mushroom with a history of both medicinal and culinary uses in Asia and Europe. Medicinal mushroom use dates back to 450 BCE when Greek physician Hippocrates discovered the potential anti-inflammatory properties of fungi as well as their role in wound cauterisation, according to a 2017 study in the Journal of Restorative Medicine.
The potential benefits of lion’s mane mushroom are numerous and span physical, cognitive and mental health[2]. The mushroom is a source of natural bioactive compounds, which are health-promoting chemicals found in certain foods and plants. As a result, it exhibits disease-fighting properties, including anti-cancer, anti-microbial and antioxidant activity.
Research also suggests that lion’s mane may protect nerves from disease or decline, according to a 2015 Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry abstract.
Lion’s mane mushroom may be a potential alternative treatment for depression, according to a 2020 abstract in the Journal of Molecular Science. The abstract highlights three ways in which lion’s mane may ease depression symptoms:
• Helping ensure the presence of sufficient neurotransmitters
• Reducing the loss of nerve growth brought about by stressful situations
• Minimising inflammation linked to depression[3].
Furthermore, research shows that people living with major depressive disorder may have lower nerve growth factors than non-depressed people, according to a 2015 meta-analysis in Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment[4]. Nerve growth factor helps nerve cells specialise, grow and remain healthy, which are essential aspects of mood regulation.
Several studies demonstrate that lion’s mane increases nerve growth factor, according to Lexi Watson, a doctor of pharmacology, functional medicine practitioner and founder of Oakley Wellness, a practice specialising in brain health and optimal ageing.
Lion’s mane’s effect on nerve growth factor levels may enable it to help protect against disorders like Alzheimer’s disease that feature cognitive impairment.
Lion’s mane is a type of nootropic, meaning it contains compounds that improve brain health and function
Lion’s mane may help ease stress, according to a 2010 study in Biomedical Research providing some evidence to support this theory. The study examines the effects of lion’s mane on brain function and concludes that participants who ate cookies containing 0.5 grams of powdered lion’s mane (specifically the mushroom or fruiting body) for four weeks reported less anxiety than those who ate placebo cookies. The authors theorise that the nerve growth effect of lion’s mane mushroom contributes to its anti-anxiety action.
