I tried this a few times and gained some minor benefit, but it could have just been because the prongs were holding my nostrils open. I think it’s quite well designed although you will have to keep changing the pill-type batteries with more every time it goes flat. I did not like the jacket part very much which makes cleaning it difficult.

    Easy to use
    Small, compact design
One of prongs that you place up your nose seemed a little loose/wonky but thinks its perhaps meant to be like that.
Was skeptical as to whether this would work . . . it did seem to help

I have been a long-term hay fever sufferer over the years and this summer it has tended to be worse than usual. I get days where I am fine and others where my nose is constantly running.

I thought I’d try this when seeing it is “in association” with St. John’s Ambulance. If I hadn’t of read that I would have passed up the opportunity to try this to be honest.

It’s been a bit hit and miss so far to be honest. Some days it seems to work and I can tell a difference and others I can’t feel it making any difference at all. It’s hard to give an accurate verdict on this as I haven’t got any scientific data to back it up with. Just a sense of whether it’s working today or not really.

I am going to persevere with it and update my review at the end of this summer once the allergies have stopped and I have had a longer period to judge this by.

Until then, the jury is out.

This small device is easy to use. Turn it on and the two ends light up red, then you shove them up your nostrils and hold the device steady for 3 minutes. It’s not particularly uncomfortable, although it does say you should shove the things up as far as you can. The first time I did it I genuinely felt like it made a difference, although I also wondered if it was the placebo affect. The second time I did it I found no difference and then half an hour later I started to get a terrible headache. I never get headaches normally, so I think the device was probably the cause. I have avoided it since then as I want to do a little more research on what it’s actually doing.

This is an interesting little device that if you suffer from bad hay fever then this could be an absolute godsend. So I had never heard of this concept before I saw this product but if the science is to be believed then this could be great, it says that it uses two different wave lengths of light to stimulate parts of your sinuses to help relieve symptoms.

So the firstly thing noticed when taking it out of the packaging was how small the device is, it is very small, easy fit in your hand and pocket, it is very portable. The next thing is was that it includes the batteries which is really nice to see. Using the device is pretty straightforward, you put two prongs up your nostrils and simply turn it on, the prongs light up red and you hold it there for three minutes at which point it turns itself off and beeps.

I’m not sure how effective it has been so far, I’m general my experience has been that while using the device my nose runs constantly and this is quite unpleasant. Straight after using it, I need to sneeze quite a bit for a few minutes but after that my symptoms are eased for a few hours. Which suggests it is working, but it is definitely not the most pleasant experience ever.

This is a small, quite portable device, which is easy to use, although the batteries needed constant
charging. Overall, I found this to be of a hit and miss affair. Sometimes it seemed to work when I
was suffering from hayfever, but then it wasn’t clear whether if was having a lucky day when the
pollen wasn’t too bad. I’m not clear if I can recommend this fully. It might work for some people,
    and not for others.

I’ve heard really good things about this technique of allergy management and wanted to give it a try. Sadly I couldn’t get past having this up my nostrils for prolonged periods and simply didn’t get on with it. But that’s me, you might be more tolerant of this than I was. Still recommend giving this a try.

A nicely presented device with clear instructions.

It is very small and so is easily carried about in a bag of pocket for when you need it.

Regrettably there was no discernible effect on either of us. Others have reported results but we tried a few times and couldn’t get any change.

It could be worth a go for you.
