The screen protectors are essentially pretty good and easy to install. However, despite following the instructions to the letter the first one I fitted retained a large bubble at one end which was unsightly and no amount of pressure would close. So instead of having a second one in reserve I had to use the other protector immediately – which adhered perfectly – hence the mixed review.
Added update. To their credit OMD noticed my review and offered me a replacement or refund. As we have two P20s I opted for the replacement which arrived promptly and one installed perfectly on our other phone. Excellent and attentive customer service, so I’ve upped the rating.

Hmmm. This is a great screen protector. Clear, strong, nice adhesion… But why were they made so small? There really is an unacceptable amount of space left uncovered, top, bottom and sides. Yes, there’s nothing going on in those areas, but I don’t want those places to get scuffed and scratched. I ordered the correct ones for my specific phone model.
Bottom line: if I had to buy further protectors, would I choose these again? No.
Update Oct 2019: my phone has had a few minor falls resulting in the corners of the protector chipping.
A more serious fall caused a hairline crack across the protector. Not ideal but personally I think it would have been game-over for the screen itself if I didn’t have the protector.

I bought this a year ago when I first got my P20 handset. Installed it along with a spiegen case for side protection. It lasted a year. Admittedly there were a couple of chips at the side, but no major cracks – until last week when I dropped the phone from height. Changing the screen protector today, I was impressed however that the handset itself it still immaculate without a single chip crack or dent. I’ve put the second one on today, and wonder whether it too, will last a year.
Contrary to other reviews, both of mine have fitted perfectly and haven’t had bubbles at application.

For the first time my screen is bubble free! Quite pleased with this purchase. Arrived very fast, easy to install, no bubbles(!), completely clear and touch screen works as if there’s nothing on top. Didn’t even need to use the cleaning wipes and cloth. Just peeled the original sticker that comes with the phone and applied the protector straight away on the clean screen. Good value of money. Don’t know what more you can expect from a screen protector :))

This feels like the more budget screen protectors with the glass feeling more “matt” than “smooth”.
Installing it is ok but you have to be perfect to the millimetre otherwise something wont line up.
I managed to get mine a few mm too low and it’s right on the edge of the button.
Everything seems to work fine and I’m hoping the little bubbles on the corners will go away once its settled.

Another update…. My phone was knocked out of my hand on NYE and it landed face down on a tiled kitchen floor, to make matter worse the phone was then stood on. I was convinced it was game over for the screen… how wrong was I. The screen protector took a lot of scuff damage and was cracked in two corners BUT… the phone was safe. I have ordered some more and the replacement has gone of perfectly once again. Thank you OMOTON for delivering exactly what you state.
Update…. I recently dropped my phone and a bubble appeared in one corner. I could not get rid of this so I removed the cover and replaced it. Same process applied, same heat result. Fitting is flawless, the bubble was the result of some minor damage to one corner, at least my phone is ok. These covers are amazing and I will order some more as spares.
Original entry: These are amazing. They feel great, easy to install… Gripped the glass with no bubbles. I have fitted many cheaper versions on my daughters iPhone… Nothing compared to this.

This is an ok product, which could be expected from the price point and if you follow the instructions is is pretty simple to install. I have just installed so cannot comment on how long it will last just yet but seems as solid as glass protectors I have had in the past. Neg Point number 1; it could do with being a bit wider and a bit longer. The protector covers the display in both width and height but the screen carries on to the top bottom and edges of the phone without protection. I have a case on my phone and there is a gap between this protector and the case that has visibly began collecting dust within minutes of installation. Neg Point number 2; this screen protector collects finger prints for fun! I don’t have greasy / oily fingers for the most part so good luck to anyone that does. It could end up being quite unsightly. Overall it will do in a pros vs cons but if choosing again I would look for something fractionally larger with some finish for anti fingerprints.
