Bought this for my 90 year old Grandad. He was getting his days confused and a few days. He has a diary with dates where we write things in – like ‘lunch with family’ and a few time he was found dressed and waiting to be picked up and he got the time right, but completely the wrong day! So this clearly stating the actual day of the week has been a game changer and it hasn’t happened since! Would recommend for anyone elderly or prone to getting muddled as the screen is very clear

I am a community nurse and noticed these clocks in many housebound patients’ homes. When asked where they got them from, I couldn’t wait to buy one for my aunty. Excellent except that it’s a bit on pricey side.

What a great idea. Ordered for my mother in her late 80’s as she was forgetting which day it was and forgetting her medication. It arrived with easy straightforward instructions. Set up the date, time and alarms for her medication.
It is clear to see, it shows not only the time, the date and the day but also says morning, afternoon, evening and night. Therefore no confusion and easy to switch off alarm – one button on the rear. Has a back up battery, so if power cut, nothing is lost. Best buy.

Bought this for an elderly friend bedridden in care home. She was confused with a normal clock as did not know whether it was morning or afternoon with a 12 hour clock. Same problem with my mum with Alzheimers, when ever she woke up she thought it was morning and wanted to know what was for lunch even though she had lunch before falling to sleep in the chair.

First of all excellent service from amazon team and driver. Very fast delivery. The digital calendar is very well made and I find it suits all my needs. I like the way the day date time comes on as soon as it is powered on. The time date etc is very clear. One grumble is it does not say which type of SD card is needed. There are lots of them available with different sizes and shapes. For the price of the digital calendar one should have been supplied. Apart fro that I would certainly recommend it.

My brother set this up but feedback was that it wasn’t the easiest, so father wouldn’t have managed it. We were expecting to enter text for reminders like “Feed the dog” but resolved that by uploading a photo of the dog eating instead, early stages Alzheimers this will be adequate but may need to add text to the photo later on. We have noticed that others have said the time doesn’t automatically adjust when clocks go forward or backward but that’s the kind of thing we would attend to anyway

I think the product is very expensive for what it is. It is useful and a great clock to look at, but honestly I think £15-£20 would be more than ample and I paid over £30. My main annoyance is the alarm button is on the back so you have to pick the whole clock up and turn it round to turn the alarm off. A button on the front or side would have made sense. Plugs in which I don’t mind but no battery back up and holds no charge at all so would go straight off in a power cut
