I collapsed after my first marathon with dehydration and pulled out of my second after 21 miles. Precision Hydration gave me advice and the salts and other products got me through the Beachy Head Marathon yesterday. Having the salt tablets gives me a lot more confidence that I’m going to be okay out there and so I want to give them a glowing review. Some people can get by in a marathon with just water but I’m one of those who can’t.

I regularly get my electrolytes out of whack cos chronic illness. Rehydration or sports drinks don’t work for me, because when I need them I usually have migraine and nausea. I take one of these capsules and slowly sip the required amount of water. Then feel significantly better.

Used these on several long runs including ultras, and they have prevented any cramp-along with other fluids-they are a genuine aid to us runners. Also, after buying them I happened to listen to the company’s founder on a podcast, and he certainly knows his onions…well, fuelling science.

Have not tried them very often, but when I have I have had some very good results. For instance, leg cramps start half way through my normal sleep time. Usually they will persist until I get up. If I take two tablets after the first attack I do not get any more that night.
