Great support for me when fasting and the fact that I distil my water, so I need to add electrolytes. Taking the one pill instead of measuring doses of potassium etc makes perfect sense

I suffer from chronic fatigue, which causes me to sweat a lot, particularly overnight, so I find electrolyte supplements pretty much essential. These capsules are 2 a day, so the price isn’t too bad for a 2-month supply, but there are better value alternatives available.

SO I was looking for a supplement to help increase my calcium and magnesium intake and help with water absorption so was looking for an electrolyte and so when I saw this product seemed to have everything I was looking for I thought I had to try it.
It is really hard to judge the full impact or improvements of these type of supplements as you do not feel an effect like you would a stimulant, but looking at the RI% and the multiple elelemnts you get with this product it seems a good deal.
I really like the qty amount is for 2 months so you get 120 pills for 2 per day which again compared to most who only offer 30 days worth this is a great deal.
The packaging is clear and easy to read and I like it is UK made.
The 2 down sides for me are the size of the tablets as they seem larger than other types of pills and on top of that they are not coated in a smooth film so the pills are the ingredients pressed into a pill shape, which I am certain helps with the speed of absorption, but for me personay I find them harder to swallow.
Overall I am happy I have increased my minerals and electrolytes but would prefer smaler and smoother pills.

These electrolyte supplements seem to provide a relatively low dose of salts compared to other electrolyte supplments available, eg other supplemts provide closer to 100% of daily RI of magnesium. This suggests to me that these supplements are more aimed towards everday use for people who are not vigoursly exercising (sweating) or who already have a good intake of these minerals and just need a little top up.
The supplements are in a compressed tablet form and the daily dose is two tablets meaning this is a two month supply. I found the tablets are easy enough to swallow and use them after running.
At £9 for a two month supply they are much cheaper than many other supplements available but do provide lower amounts of the electrolytes than other supplements.

Absolutely fine as a mild electrolyte supplement. They shouldn’t really be labelled as “High Strength” in the title.
The taste is real nasty but it’s not an issue if you have some water ready to wash them down straight away. They are large but quite thin so they go down easily.
The low potassium is a good thing in some situations because that’s one of the rare supplements that you should not accidentally overdose on and you’ll be getting more from your food anyway. You don’t want to have to monitor everything you eat for potassium after taking a supplement to avoid getting hyperkalemia.
If you are a fitness buff with full control over your diet then you’d probably want something stronger because you “probably” know what you are doing.
If you are taking supplements casually and don’t micromanage everything you consume then these are a safer bet. Which means they are good to take when doing things like Atkins, Keto or Carnivore diets… because you get a lot of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium when consuming ‘high’ amounts of meat and eggs.

I wanted to take some minerals for fasting as wasn’t sure I was getting enough. Presumably they are fine as they say they are for keto or fasting and don’t spike blood sugar levels. What I like about these are that they are flat tablets (as opposed to capsules) with a line down the middle so you can easily break in half.
So, as I’m not entirely sure they wont break a fast I only take half a tablet and then if I’m on a 24 hr fast take the other half later in the day or take a whole one again when I start eating. Although I’ve not noticed any difference when taking them.
For the price of £8.95 I am happy and would consider buying again.

This is really helpful when it comes to having a balanced keto diet. These supplements help me with strengthening my immune system, while I am on the keto diet. So far, it’s worked well with no side effects. So far it does what it says on the tin.
