Bought as a present for a friend who is a good gardener but she says very few of the seeds germinated now that could be the year or the fact she is in Cumbria but it is a disappointment.

These seem good, the parent plants were grown without genetic engineering or harmful chemicals. They are clearly marked with a use by date and each packet has growing instructions. I haven’t sown any yet. So far so goid.

I was first gifted a pack of the herbs a couple of years ago, absolutely loved them and have been buying them since for me and and as gifts for friends, and here, as the packs are really nicely designed they do make nice gifts, although the real gifts are the seeds.
Would not go for any other type of seeds than heirloom ones, which these are. Instructions for each seeds packs are clear, and should any help be required, the support is top notch, this I can vouch for since I had to once yelp for help, and the help sure came quickly.
As some reviewers have mention some failed germination, there is a non negligible factor to consider regarding this, so here am sharing some acquired knowledge.
Assuming sowed in the right environment as stated on the seeds packs, and considering that the seeds are independently tested for viability and germination, if the seeds are then not stored in the right environment, like say some warehouses and this for quite some time, failed germination could be due to such factor.
