Bought this as I had some slight issues with dandruff… it has increased tenfold since purchasing this product! Do not waste your money!

    It works!!
Ive enormously sentisive scalp, I’ve been using in conjunction withe the condition, I’ve had no breakouts and no dandruff.

I know its a lot of money but I only wash my hair twice a week and keep it out of the kids and hubby’s way (unless they had need for it) so I can justify the price.

You don’t need a load either, the texture is thick but light and seems to go a long way. I use with the conditioner too.

I apply with my hands, then using a head massage brush I rubbed it in.

I wish I could describe the fragrance, its citrus but not lemon or lime, kind of reminds me of Fahrenheit fragrance but but lighter.

    I am very happy

As a shampoo this does deliver in that it does a really good job of cleaning hair as most shampoo’s do.

However the claims made are much harder to confirm or deny in terms of actual hands on experience as i cant tell whats going on at a ‘cellular’ level.

I can provide a basic review based on my experience however so i hope this help.

The shampoo is of a gel like consistancy with a low but pleasant odour. This would fall in line with regards to claims of being designed for sensitive skin that may flare up due to added scents or creams.

It lathers very well even when using it in our hard water area.

The shampoo rinses quickly and cleanly.

My wife suffers from a sensitive scalp and shes been using the product for about a week every day, she hasnt reported any improvement in her condition and her scalp still itches as it did before so no improvemnet there, equally it didnt make it worse.

For my own part i do get mild dandruff from time to time and i havent had any during the use of this product, equally i dont if using head and shoulders.

Its nicely packadged and looks expensive which may give some the warm fuzzies , schools out for me as to its effectiveness but this may come into its own with longer use . As i say its very hard to appraise products like this short term so i maybe being unfair.

The media could not be loaded.

The scent of this shampoo is a delight. It’s hard to pick out any actual noticeable tones or notes but it just smells really nice and reminds me of a woody oceanic sort of smell.

The shampoo feels a little thick in consistency but it lathers up well and did I mention… it smells great!

The one thing that is unforgivable on a £25 bottle of shampoo is that the dispense mechanism is abysmal.

For the price, you would have expected some sort of user testing to take place…

Its a screw top lid… surely most people in the shower, like myself… squirt the shampoo onto their hand then close up the shampoo and proceed to wash their hair…

With this bottle it’s an annoyance having to unscrew the lid, put the lid down, hold the bottle in one hand, squirt the shampoo into your empty hand and then try to screw the lid back on with the shampoo liquid sitting in your hand and the bottle in the other. Maybe its just an OCD thing that only I do but I would expect most people to want to put the lid on as soon as they have ejected the substance that they need!

This product would be complete with a sensible, NORMAL dispense mechanism… screw top lids for shampoo, conditioner or shower gel are a terrible design choice and I would expect better for a £25 product.

Not the cheapest shampoo on the market.
250ml plastic bottle with silver lid. Looking expensive.
Shampoo got thick gel texture and pleasant refreshing scent.
Only small amount is needed to wash hair. It is lathering and rinsing off well.
After use scalp is not as dry and itchy as before. Hair is silky smooth and stays fresh for longer.
I think that it is great product and will buy again .

The product ( Kerastase Symbiose Anti-Dandruff shampoo ) might be a good one for daily basic stress related dandruff issues but if you have eczema, psoriasis or similar skin problems please don’t waste your money. Even though it’s an expensive “professional product”, unfortunately, it makes your dandruff worse and worse after a while. For people who have similar issues, my personal advice, the best option is a basic, industrial ingredient-free, hypoallergenic shampoo like “e45” or an extremely effective shampoo like Dercos anti-dandruff series. From my personal experience, still, the best option is hypoallergenic basic moisture shampoo like e45 series because even Dercos is very helpful, you have to wash your hair every morning to keep it clean during the day. Good luck everyone, I hope you guys can find your way to get rid of the dandruff situation, I know it’s annoying.
