My GP suggested a lysine supplement because I’ve had Covid-19, shingles and recurring cold sores. I chose these because they were vegan and contained extra vitamins.
Tbh I found the tablets a bit too big to swallow whole – though maybe they have to be to pack everything in. I snap mine in half but they came with a card to show you can dissolve them in a hot drink too.
It’s only been a few days but already my skin is clearer and my cold-sore is (finally) almost gone 😀

I was getting cold sores including a terrible one in my nose. I found these and thought I would give them a try. They definitely worked and I am impressed. I had a period of time where I stopped taking them and after a while I got the tingle on my lip. So I bought them again. Nothing since taking them again.

Good for when you you feel you are getting a coldsore, stops it in its tracks to avoid it going full blown. Only disadvantage is the tablets are too big

Although these do work they are massive tablets so not the easiest to swallow, but worth it to not suffer from cold sores

I’ve always suffered with cold sores. Absolutely hate the vile things! I’ve always applied cold sore cream daily, which prevents an outbreak. Get about 1 per year. Saw these, & ordered them. But I did think they were expensive. Upon receipt I noticed that I could get the primary ingredient in a supliment from Holland and Barrett, for a fraction of the price! So returned these, & ordered from H&B. Since taking them, I have had one minor cold sore on my nose. Which I managed with a CS patch. I still get frequent tingles on my lips, which prompts me to put CS cream on. So I’m not convinced L-Lysine is a cure?

It’s ok, but waaaay too expensive. Not sure what you guys are thinking for charging this much! £20 for a bottle is a robbery
Also on Amazon prime day it was £9!! That’s the price this should be…not double the price! Review it! It’s way too much! Won’t be buying again
