I don’t have any allergies, however, I live in a flat with carpets which are probably 30+ years old. They are disintegrating and creating an abnormal amount of dust. So much dust. A dust farm if you will. It’s to the point where I was vacuuming practically every day. Overnight after having cleaned, I would wake up to a fairly thick layer of dust on everything. It was driving me insane. But worst of all, because so much dust was in the air and on top of everything, I was struggling to breathe. My nose would feel blocked all the time unless I was outside or had the windows open. So I decided to look into air purifiers and after much research decided on this one and it’s everything I wanted and needed. I’m sure the more expensive ones will be a bit better, however, this one fit my budget and it’s great value for the price especially if you catch a discount voucher. It collects a huge amount of the dust and it allows me to go longer before I have to thoroughly vacuum (I do it twice a week instead of 4-5 times like before). And of course most importantly I can breathe normally in my room even with the windows shut. Having this has been such a huge relief. The app for it is also very nice – has a lot of options for settings but it’s also quick and responsive unlike some other smart device apps. Overall, I would highly recommend this air purifier. And if you read this review, please say a prayer for me that our landlord will update the flooring.
P.S. Every now and then I like to open it up and vacuum the dust that gets built up on the outer layer of the filter – regardless of which air purifier you have, this just helps maintain the best air flow. For me it’s necessary because of my legendary dust battles and it’s the reason I haven’t lost my sanity over my situation.

Reviewing this after a year of use.
We bought this to get rid of pollens, esp. in the bedroom. It seems to work well for this purpose, we suffer less from allergies in the morning.
The filter lasted for a year. We used to run it for the whole night for a couple of months. But the noise was bothering me, so now we run it in the evening and then it turns off after 10pm.
The ability to set it up the schedule with the smartphone is very useful (although what bothers me is that if the company went flop, that feature would probably die with it).
One drawback is that the top half of the cylinder is made from a different plastic than the bottom half, and the top half started developing a yellow tint. For this I’ll take away one star, it’s a pity that it’s not meant to last.

Great air purifier. We brought for vape smoke in the house as it can linger and stick to things such as the TV. No need to worry anymore as this sucks it all up and leaves the air clear.. now just time to quit vaping

Very easy to use, works great with your phone. I have really bad asthma and I cough a lot at night that I will wake up coughing for a good hour at stuiped o clock.
Since using this air purifier my coughing is at minimum!!!!
I have had so many nights where I am no longer coughing or waking up out of my sleep.
I absolutely love this air purifier and would highly recommend!

I would always wake up with a blocked nose and be sneezing constantly. Bought this to see if it would help the breathing and stop the amount I was sneezing. Would definitely recommend to those with a busy family environment.

It is a well built product with lots of features including option to control using your alexa. It’s difficult to comment on It’s ability to filter air but I have noticed that if you have cooking smells eg curry , it seems to clear them quite quickly. Overall like the product
