I bought these for my daughter after consulting with our GP that we could give her them. She’s allowed one tablet as opposed to the one to two adult dose. We were finding that children’s junior paracetamol and ibuprofen liquids involved giving her such huge doses that it was a real faff and the bottle didn’t last long. She’s no good at taking tablets (we tried and failed) so these meltlets were our final option. They are perfect, she has no issue taking them and they get to work quickly to treat her pain.

Obviously you may want to double check and consult your GP if you’d like to give these to an older child and you’re unsure about the dosage. But for any adult who finds taking tablets difficult, or for anyone who needs pain relief on the move these are really simple, really effective, and don’t taste utterly vile. Quite expensive but I think they’re worth it for occasional use.

I have struggled for years taking ibuprofen as it gives me serious stomach pain so I have completely avoided them. Which has been hard after years of suffering the pain of endometriosis.

Recently I had reconstructive foot surgery and was in agony. They advised to take ibuprofen along with opiate pain relief. Told them I couldn’t so tried the opiates on their own. I lasted about a day before I gave in. Decided to try these as I thought they wouldn’t be sitting in my stomach. They are a godsend to me! No stomach pains as they are not dissolving in your stomach! Now this may not be the same for people who have problems with ibuprofen on a sensitive stomach but for me it’s the only way I can take them without stomach issues (which would last DAYS after one dose).

Don’t taste amazing but didn’t expect them too. They not Too bad to be honest and dissolve in seconds. Worth a try.

If you are a person that cant swallow tablets then these are ideal. I do actually prefer to swallow with a liquid such as juice but are designed to be taken without too

If like me and you struggle to/can’t swallow normal pills these are honestly a godsend as someone who occasionally suffers with severe headaches I’ve always kept a box or two around just in case as they do definitely help reduce symptoms and get me up and about again within a couple of hours. I have also been using these on and off for toothache while I wait for dental work and they’ve really helped keep me sane and got me through it at least so far and have greatly reduced pain as a result of said tooth.

They admittedly don’t taste great and definitely do leave a taste in your mouth for a few minutes if you can’t wash it down with something (which I’d recommend you do as it just speeds up the process slightly and washes most of the taste away too but they’ll still work just fine without). But I wouldn’t say that the taste is foul, gross or sour as some of these more negative reviews would have you believe. They definitely aren’t the most pleasant tasting but I’ll take it over a bad headache or toothache any day of the week. They generally melt away within about 15-30 seconds into a powder which can then just be swallowed and they usually start to kick in (for me at least) 10-15 minutes after swallowing. They do seem to last at least 4 hours like normal Ibuprofen tablets so there’s absolutely no downsides to these compared to normal capsules.

The only bad thing I will say about them is the cost, at £4 for a box of 12 it is very steep when you can probably get an equal sized box from your nearest supermarket for about 40 to 50p. Even normal 16 Nurofen capsules are a couple of pounds at most but I guess it’s the price we must pay for being awkward and not being able to swallow normal capsules.

Ideal for adults that can’t take tablets , melt in your mouth , reasonably priced, battered packaging but melts are intact.

Easy take, easy to take around in your bag and of course they do the trick.

These are more expensive than normal pills but they do taste great. Usual nurofen quality.
