Tried for the first time on the hottest day of the year, I was impressed with the quick hydration effects. A dull headache I had had was gone, and I felt generally more refreshed, 20 minutes after drinking. The subtle orange flavour and low sweetness level was perfect for my taste, as I don’t like orange squash or B*rocca. My partner took his in his orange squash to make it sweeter. Having never taken a hydration supplement before, I’m converted.

This comes in a metal tube similar to a well-known brand of vitamin C supplements.

    They taste pretty similar too.

You get twenty tablets that dissolve in water quickly and easily.

I find they make a refreshing drink that is also good for you.

These are not only vitamin C but also have Vitamin D, Zinc and Iron.

These are vegan-friendly, gluten free, and lactose free so suitable for all the family.

They are more expensive than the well known brand and that brand has 11 vitamins & minerals so I am not convinced I would buy these again.

These are the first vitamin tablets I’ve found in ages with no sorbitol in, that’s important for us IBS sufferers who can’t have even small amounts of sorbitol without it affecting us, so well done to ORS.

Thankfully the taste is pretty good and they do feel like they are ping something, though it’s not really a scientific test in any way, at least they encourage you to drink water.

Sadly it does have to lose a star for the current pricing at over £8 a tube, with only 20 tablets in each tube, that’s not even a month’s worth.

I like the flavour of this supplement, and to know that they pack more than just Vitamin C is even more convent. I recently started feeling unusually more tired during the day, and having this supplement I can actually feel the boost from the vitamin C just a while after taking it. In addition to vitamin C, this also packs a decent amount of Vitamin D, Zinc and Iron that provide an immune boost.

For a pack of 20 tablets, this isn’t a regular vitamin for my needs and affordability-wise it doesn’t really work for me. I simply don’t see myself spending £7 on a supplement that doesn’t keep me going for at least a month. Therefore I might be getting more of this in the future, but only occasionally rather than regularly.

I’m not sure if these are meant to be taken for illness or rehydration. Needless to say, My adult Son took one to relieve a hangover and he felt better.
My Husband used them at the first signs of a cold and his cold didn’t progress into a full blown cold. Obviously I don’t know if this was as a result of taking these tablets.
These dissolve well and have a pleasant taste. At full price there are much cheaper options. I would not pay full price, as they are not much different to the other similar tablets which are available.

I drink quite a lot of these type of effervescent tablets for hydration, replenishing electrolytes after heavy workouts. I was excited to try these as I felt it would be good to boost my immune system at the same time, as they’re marketed as hydration tablets. When they arrived, they seem more like an immune system supplement than for hydration as well, as they’re missing magnesium. They do have potassium and salt, but I feel they miss the mark for hydration as magnesium is so important. Overall, ideal if you want a vitamin C drink, but less so if you’re wanting a boost to your usual hydration supplements. They are ‘low calorie’ but on reading the ingredients I’m not sure why they need both sugar (glucose) and Sucralose (sweetener). At £8.39 for 20 tablets, they’re quite pricey too.
