TabTime Automatic Pill Dispenser, 6 Alarms per Day. Solid Lockable Lid. Essential Medication Aid for The Elderly, Alzheimers & Dementia Patients

£69.99

  • The TabTime automatic pill dispenser has been developed to assist people to take their medication on time. It’s lockable and has 28 compartments and can be set to dispense tablets between 1 and 6 times a day. This means the product only needs to be refilled every 4 to 28 days.
  • There are three different audio alarms with a visual red LED alarm which provides an additional reminder for users. The alarm sounds for up to 30 mins upon activation and is cancelled when the product is tipped in order to dispense the tablets.
  • Proven results: 91% of people improve their medication adherence when using the TabTime automatic pill dispenser (study conducted by researchers at LSE University in 2021).
  • This version of the product is supplied with a opaque lid which stops the user being able to see their medication. The lid is also lockable to deter the user accessing the medicines. It’s supplied with 4 x AA batteries and includes a low battery alarm. Size 7.5 inches or 19 cm diameter.
  • We’re a UK based company and we are always happy to support you in setting up the product. The product also comes with a one year limited product guarantee.

Bought this product as both parents have dementia and have been struggling to remember what tablets to take and on what days, doctors had given us dosset boxes but that still didn’t work as they forgot what days it is, to be honest we were at a loss we even installed and Alexa with a routine but it only worked partially, then we found this box, set it up with an alarm twice a day and boom works perfect! Alarm sounds and only turns off once box turned upside down to release tablets
Everyday I visit and table compartments are empty and tablets have been taken, parents are even a lot less stressed and they don’t have to worry
We can enjoy our visits again other than constantly asking if they have taken there tablets

Brilliant for my mum who has dementia. Set alarm as required for number of doses per day.

This medication dispenser is a literal lifesaver. Ensures that someone with confusion and memory loss is able to have tablets safely and consistently dispensed without risk of overdose. Obviating the need to go into a care home. Just need someone to fill it on a regular basis, then subject just takes the delivered dosage at allotted times when they hear the alarm go off/see light flash. Highly recommended.

This has completely solved the issue we had with getting my elderly father, who has dementia, to take the proper daily dosage of medication. Before he had a habit of taking too many, obviously forgetting that he’d already taken them earlier in the day.
The only flaw is having the battery compartment accessible. My father has occasional “Brain fart” moments where he tries everything to get tablets out of the box, including removing the batteries, this obviously renders the unit useless. Something as simple as a screw on the battery compartment (ideally with a Torx head), or even better, having the battery compartment internal to the locking mechanism of the unit, would make this a 5-star review.

Purchased fir my Mum who has early onset dementia. It’s good and works well BUT , if you are setting up for morning and night then you only get 13 full days as one of the pill holder trays is open. The other big problem is when the clocks change the timer needs to be changed manually. This is a big issue as people with dementia need routines, so having to either stay with them until the night time tablet has been given or getting to them early before the morning dose is the only option. Otherwise ots very good.

What I love about the product:
I no longer need to worry that my parent isn’t taking their medication at the wrong times and more importantly not over/under dosing.

What I would love to be improved:
A tray that you can fill for a 14 day period, we are currently using 4 compartments a day. I have purchased a second empty tray which we have filled in advance to swap over each week.

We have been using this device for 3 weeks and my parents worry and anxiety about the frequency/amounts of medication to take has all but disappeared.

I would most definitely recommend this product to anyone looking after an individual that is starting to become confused and distressed as this is the perfect soultion.
