Dementia Clock – The Easy-to-read & Self-setting Geemarc Viso10 – Ideal for Seniors and People Living with Alzheimer’s – Battery Operated – UK…

£44.99

  • ???? SELF-SETTING CLOCK – This dementia clock will automatically set itself to the correct time and date using the MSF radio signal. If synchronization with this signal fails, you still have the possibility of setting the time manually.
  • ???? LOCK FUNCTION – Once you have gotten the VISO10 to display your local time, you can activate its lock function so as to make it impossible for anyone to set a different one. If you are thinking of buying this clock for a relative who is living with Alzheimer’s, you can be sure that this person won’t be able to change the time displayed when picking up the clock and inadvertently pressing on its buttons.
  • ➊➎:➌➒ LARGE DISPLAY – Our calendar clock is also ideal for visually impaired people who, even from a distance, will always be able to easily see what time it is thanks to the 5.5-centimeter high digits on the clock’s big display.
  • ???? NO ABBREVIATION – The names of the days and months are not abbreviated, but fully spelled out to increase readability. This also ensures that people living with memory loss who rely on our day clock to keep track of time do not to get confused by abbreviations they might not be familiar with.
  • ???? WORKS ON BATTERIES – This clock for seniors is powered by two AA batteries (not included). You can put it anywhere in your house and not worry about you or your older relatives tripping on cables.
  • ???? 8 LANGUAGES – There are 8 languages available: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish and Polish.
  • ✔️ OTHER FEATURES – The VISO10 can be either placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall, and it has both a 12 and 24-hour display format. It does however not have a backlight.

I needed a battery operated dementia clock and this one seems to meet most of the requirements. Easy to set up and a good size. Some back light would have improved the display but that feature was not available on any of battery operated clocks I could find.

I bought this for my wife, who’s had brain surgery & gets confused. This helps very much.

It is large and clear and keeps a relative in a Care Home in touch with the correct date and time as all days are the same in that regime.

I like the fact that it does not an illuminated display. This means I can have it in my bedroom and there is no light to stop me sleeping.

I purchased this clock for an elderly relative who has quite good eye sight.

I found the clock difficult to read. The contrast between the clock numbers and the clock face was extremely poor. Other younger members of the family thought the same.

Not sure how anyone could find the clock Easy to read.

The Day Clock is easy to read in the daylight. Large numbers can itentify the day and time without spectacles. All that is required is 2 AA batteries and within minutes the clock will be activated to your location without any adjustments on your part. Seasonal time changes are done automatically.

Very clear and easy to read. Ideal for poor sighted or dementia patient Pretty simple to amend and overall good value for money. Minor complaint, it gained an hour, two weeks earlier than British Summer adjustment, so clearly set for US or other time zone.

The display needs to be at the right angle to see the date and time clearly. There is a definite best viewing angle. Would be better with optional backlight. However it’s one of the cheaper dementia clocks so you pay for the extra benefit of clarity with more £££

However my Mum uses it daily to check the day and date etc. If the dementia is mild save your money this works well, for more advanced dementia relatives you may want the extra functions and alarms.
