They look great and come in different colours. They smell like those citronella candles you use in the garden which do work. I actually wear one round my ankle – in the summer when there are mossies around and on holiday, I’ll wear one on each ankle as that’s one of the worst places I get bitten. Very inexpensive as well.

These are a much more attractive and comfortable looking version of repellant bracelets compared to the other spiral plastic ones we have used. These are supposed to give 10 days protection from opening the packet but it also says its got a resealable packet to preserve and extend the protection. I’m really unclear if you can use for 5 days then put it back for later, or if once opened the clock starts counting for them all. Given most families wont need 12 bracelets at a time I wonder why they havent sent them in 2 or 3 smaller packets so you arent opening lots you dont need. This confusion does mean I havent been able to open the packet to feel or smell them as I want them to actually work when i need them to for the entirety of our 10 day holiday this summer.

There’s nothing worse than being out later than planned and ending up being bitten because you didn’t have spray with you.
With these, you can pop one on your wrist or ankle before you go out and you should be ok for the evening.
You get lots of different colours and designs so you can match with outfits.
I’ve been testing these whilst in my garden. I have a pond so there’s always mozzies and I’m always being bitten.
So far not a single bite.
When you’re not wearing it you can put it back in the bag with the others to make it last.
They are waterproof to a degree so should be ok for a swim/shower. But this will reduce the amount of days that they’re effective.
DEET free. Just citronella, peppermint, lemon grass and eucalyptus.
£9.99 for 12 bands is a good price as they do appear to work.

I am really impressed and pleased! My wife and I spent two weeks at a place we visit frequently and have done for years. It’s normal for me to end up being bitten 10 to 15 times my wife once or twice, as I react badly decided to wear both the bands and patches made by the same company. In the first week I was bitten once, my wife didn’t wear them and had 7 bites.

These bracelets really do work. I get bitten terribly by mosquitos in the spring and summer months, so I got these to repel them on my walks.
They smell very pleasant, like citronella and you can take them off and store back in the packet for re use. If you wear continuously they should last about a week. They actually look nice too!
The reason I knock off a star is the fastenings. It’s a bit fiddly to get on and some of the brackets don’t have large enough holes to get the fastenings through, so you have to pry the bracelet apart a little.
However they do work, so I would buy again.

I’m one of those people who always seems to get bitten so I thought I’d try these. They look ok and the smell isn’t too bad so a good start. I’ve been wearing one on my ankle for evening dog walks in the park and so far it seems to work. I’m pretty pleased.

Every time we take a package Holiday, it can be Spain or even the USA ( especially Florida) the reps come on the coach and try and sell you Mozzy Bands. They charge almost as much as these for one. These are much better quality. They feel better to wear and look much better. They are effective and do more less last fort the 10 days. So definitely take these with you. Good protection.

I didn’t expect these to work, but when taking the dog out for his evening stroll and my evening chill I wore one of these the last few days and it seemed to work both times. There’s an area of tall grass on the edge of a wood where we sit and chill at the top of a hill looking down on everything while I throw his ball a few times (maybe a million times!) and I always seem to be buzzed by midges – that also happens in the wood where there are plenty of mossies by the ponds. But these last two evenings they seem to have stayed away when I have sat down or stopped for a while. Same in the back garden which again backs on to stables/fields and we also have a pond. Doesn’t seem to work on horse flies though as I smashed one when I felt it on my leg – but no mossie bites so far.
I’m not sure what they are made of but it feels like a soft leather – the description of the material in the Amazon listing simply says “natural” and there is no mention on the packet. The colours are all pretty cool too – I like ’em.
