The dispensing mechanism lets down this otherwise good product. Sometimes you get no drop, sometimes half a drop, sometimes it squirts with force and sometimes you are lucky and you get a properly dispensed drop. If you have weak hands or hand issues with arthritis or similar this mechanism would be difficult to use. Why change from the simple squeeze bottle I don’t know.

Extremely easy to use, without even lying down! I turn the bottle upside down holding it between thumb and forefinger, look up, rest my thumb on my nose and press once with my forefinger. This releases a generous drop that will provide your eyes with adequate dry-relief for hours. Continuous usage will perfect the style and aim of dispensing these eye drops so nothing will go to waste. Very gentle, provides immediate comfort and offers noticeable improvement of dry-eye symptoms almost instantly. Bottle lasts about two and a half months when using two times per day. Will definitely reorder and highly recommend it.

I don’t normally write reviews as I don’t have much free time. But I really want to stress how good these drops are.
I’ve had dry eyes for a long time which was making me ill and I didn’t even realise it was due to something as minor as dry eyes. It got to a point where screens hurt my eyes after 1 minute of use, and as a video game nerd who works a 9-5 office job, existing became painful. Black text on a white background was a no no and gave me the worst brain fogs and headaches. I invested in a pair of blue light reading glasses and I am only 31 years old, they helped but the issue came back around Easter 2021. I would feel so dizzy and ”out of it”. Unable to focus, and my eyes were so sore. I was actually feeling nauseated and horrible. I thought because I am diabetic, my eyes were starting to go. Optician said my eyes are very healthy but so dry, was told to use drops 4-6 times a day. I bought other brands but nothing really worked until I got these drops.
I started using Siccasan gel in the morning, I still do. But I top up my eyes every 2 hours or so with these drops, and over a few weeks my eyes feel sooooo much better. But you have to KEEP using them. It’s like drinking water, you keep drinking and do not wait until you are dehydrated. Every so often I have a day (like today) where my eyes are very sensitive to daylight, but with blackout curtains and these drops, I am able to look at screens again without wanting to keep my eyes closed.
My mum also commented that my eyes have looked nice and sparkly lately, and I can see a difference too. Previously my eyes were so dry I could actually SEE how dry they were in the mirror.
These drops are pricey and 1 bottle only lasts about 4 weeks, but they really do work and you only get mild discomfort for about 5 minutes, no blurred vision. I will continue to purchase these as they have been a miracle worker on my eyes.

It is a little difficult to use but you eventually get there. It is gentle and it seems to help so I would recommend.

Over the lockdown period, I began suffering extreme eye pain. I put it down to old lenses and I thought it was eye strain. I could not get to see a doctor, nor an optician. I thought I would need new glasses, as I suffered from bloodshot eyes and muscle pain. Eventually, after about 8 weeks I was “allowed” a phone call with a medical practitioner (not a doctor) and she suggested I was suffering from dry eye. I was prescribed Evolve solution, Liquid Tears and some other saline type solution. They gave momentary ease but the pain soon came back. When the lockdown was over I went to the optician and they diagnosed extreme dry eye. I had also damaged the surface of the eye from the dryness.
I went back to the doctor (on the phone) and they messed around with different saline solutions but nothing was really working. The original opticians had made a mistake with my new lenses and so I was forced to go to another optician for a second opinion on strengths. After the test, he showed me Hycosan Extra which he was selling at £14 a bottle. He told me that it was the best product on the market for dry eyes. My doctor refused to prescribe it, but they were happy to continue to issue me with 3 different, almost useless products. I tried Hycosan and it was excellent, but a bit expensive. I then found this product. It has a great dispensing system, where very little gets spilt. It lubricates in the same way as Hycosan, but costs a little less.
The liquid comes in a strange-looking container. Once you get the hang of how to dispense the liquid, it is so easy to use and it really controls the dosing. The first time I put the drops in, my eyes stung like crazy. They went red and offered no solution to the pain. The next day I decided to try again and I applied it four times that day and used 3 drops in each eye. By the night time, there was no pain. By the fourth day, my eyes were back to normal and felt lubricated. I can only presume this liquid coats the eyes in some sort of lubricant, as the effect is amazing. I still put it in my eyes twice a day, but there is no pain, I can focus without muscle pain and at night I do not need to apply a night gel. This has truly changed the condition I was suffering from. It has not resolved the cause of the dry eye, but the symptoms and pain have disappeared. It really is amazing.
