I have suffered from dry, ‘prickly’ eyes for several years now, the symptoms having started after we moved to live in a particularly dry and dusty arable farming area. Having worked my way through most of the ‘dry eye’ medications in recent years, I was excited to be able to test this particular product.
These Sodium Hyaluronate drops (with added Vitamin E) have proved effective in countering the worst of my dry eyes so far this year. The drops have an initial, typical, ‘sting’ when first applied – but this quickly fades and my eyes start to feel relief a few seconds later. The duration of the relief varies according to how severe my eye irritation has been – but, generally, it seems that these drops give my eyes as much relief as any other of the specialist drops available in pharmacies.
For me, these drops have been effective and soothing – and their current price-point makes them particularly attractive for anyone else who wishes to try them to relieve their dry eye symptoms..

These seem to work quite well. My left eye tends to get a bit dry during the summer months, and I find non-medicated drops help with this. These seem to work as well as any other. The only quibble I have is that it’s literally a bit difficult to get the drops out of the bottle – you need to squeeze quite hard, and I also don’t really want a jet of liquid into my eye either. They are, however, a little cheaper than some others I’ve used.

I tend to suffer from dry eyes, especially in the summer months and especially when I wear my contact lenses. These drops are very helpful in reducing the itchiness and dryness of my eyes. I found these drops incredibly easy to use, and was particularly impressed by the fact that the dropper wasn’t too excessive: what I mean by that is that you could really control the number of drops that came out of the bottle, so you weren’t drowning your eyes in eye drops.

The eye drop liquid is easy to apply and provide instant relief, cooling and soothing my eyes immediately. It has been a real boon for me especially during the hotter, drier weather.

This eye drop for dry eyes that contains 0.4% sodium hyaluronate has been a helpful solution for my husband, who wears contact lenses. It effectively alleviates his dry eye symptoms and provides relief.

The formulation of this eye drop, without any added sodium, ensures compatibility with contact lenses. It keeps the eyes moisturised and comfortable throughout the day, even with extended wear of lenses.

One minor drawback my husband noticed is that the bottle requires a firm squeeze to release the liquid. This might pose a slight inconvenience for individuals with weak hands or wrists. However, once the drops are dispensed, they work effectively in providing relief for dry eyes.

Overall, this eye drop is a valuable solution for addressing dry eyes, especially for contact lens wearers. It effectively alleviates discomfort and keeps the eyes moisturised. Just be mindful of the bottle’s firm squeeze requirement, which may be a small challenge for those with weaker grip strength.

I like this product because I can use it many times a day, whenever I need it, without worrying about overdosing. It’s also safe for 6 months after opening.
As is normal, it takes a couple of attempts to get the bottle in the right position to direct the droplets into my eyes and, of course, an assistant can help here. Once applied the relief is long-lasting and stops me blinking constantly.
The price is competitive and the quality assured by CE marking on the pack. The small plastic bottle appears to be recyclable, as is the paper card outer.

I’ve used this along with the OCUFRESH spray and actually prefer the spray to the dropper. There are two reasons for this – firstly I have a reliable blink response to drops coming toward my eyes and tend to blink just when the drop is inbound and so it doesn’t get into my eye properly; for some reason the fine mist from the spray version doesn’t trigger my blinking quite so much – secondly the dropper on this bottle is really very odd – seems to take an inordinate amount of time to build up one drop and seems to need a lot of squeezing to do so compared to other similar products I have used. Delivery systems aside, the solution itself does relieve dry eyes very effectively.

I’ve had dry eyes which I think began after laser eye surgery, although that might not be connected – who knows for sure.

These drops are pretty good, I like the fact that there is some sort of flow reducing design so you don’t end up pouring too many drops out which end up streaming down your face.

They seem to not help for the first few seconds but then settle and your eyes do feel better for it. I’m giving 4 stars as I think I’ve used others that seem to work a bit better for me.

Got these for my Mum who has recently had laser surgery on her eyes. Her eyes were getting very heavy and irritated and a trip to the opticians told us she had very dry eyes and she could use some drops. We had been using optrex but he advised us to get something thicker. We have been using these 2/3 times a day for about a week, they have defiantly improved the irritation she was feeling. Not sure how long these will last but for £8.47 they are good value as they work.
