I’ve been ordering diet whey for a while now and I love the salted caramel and belgium chocolate, although i’ve yet to try their other products.
People who say it’s bland, thats true if you’re only mixing it with water, people also say it doesn’t fill them, this again (for me) is true if I use one scoop with water, if i use two scoops it does fill me.
From time to time I mix it with oat milk and will use one scoop, this not only tasted great but becomes very filling, one thing to note is that it gets thicker if i use the recommend amount of liquid, so I usually add extra oat milk, although half oat milk and half water would probably solve the thickening issue and still allow it to taste great.
But this is where I think alot of the other reviews differ. For me, if I use oat milk the reviews about great taste and filling is spot on, on the other hand if i only use water, the reviews about it being bland and not filling is also true.
I recommend people expirment with oat milk and water, maybe try 75% water and 25% oat milk (i use oatly), from there, adjust the ratio until you find a mixture that suits you.

Tastes nice, better than lots of others. Very filling and feels good value. However, it doesn’t really mix well. I use a protein shakes but git’s is more suited to an electric blender. I find that there are lumps and bits floating. Not sure if anyone else has had this in their shakes?

As a bit of an obsessive when it comes to protein powders, and because my other half is always fussy when it comes to the taste, we decided to give this one a try due to the chocolate mint flavour variety.
1) 1kg bag – not too much if you don’t like the flavour when first trying it. Decent amount if you do like it.
2) Not a bad price – a bit more than we might spend normally, but again, the flavour is what we were wanting to try.
3) Taste – very nice, it doesn’t have the synthetic metal taste that a lot of protein powders do. This actually did taste of a chocolate mint.
4) Delivery was quick, well packaged and by Amazon.
5) Mixing – it mixed very well in yoghurt. Have not tried with milk yet.
6) Protein – it is a diet whey, and the portion is stated as 25g, whereas normally it is 30g. Scale up and it was comparable protein-wise and calorie-wise to standard options.
Overall, we would recommend this to someone who likes mint (there is a menthol mint taste, a bit like a chocolate mint after-dinner treat. Decent price-point, nothing lost in terms of nutrition, and it also contains BCAAs (have EAAs as well to have all the essentials).

I mix this with oat milk and it’s absolutely delicious. Usually have it before/after a workout and also if I’m craving something sweet so I get more nutrition than I would from a chocolate bar.
I’ve previously been put off by awful tasting powders but this is honestly so nice. I use a milk frother to blend it and it gets really smooth.
Haven’t tried it with just water but I suspect it won’t be as nice as it would be with some sort of milk but then again, it’s less calories made with water which is the trade off.

I have been buying all the flavours from this brand and finally got to the chocolate mint. Now I have tried a lot of protein powder’s because I’m a beast ! But this one is the best I have ever had . Low on fat low in carbs , extra added ingredients useful for appetite control. Mix’s well too I would recommend with a banana and low fat oak milk. Have for a lunch meal replacement and for added protein intake as a dessert after evening meal or replacement for a snack in the evening.

Just what I wanted, low calorie high protein shake. Bit expensive if pay full price but aren’t all protein powders unfortunately. I got a discount on this will look for another discount when run low. It is tasty. Recommended. Only annoying thing is the “easy seal” packaging does not seal, easily or otherwise, as the powder gets stuck in it straight away so I have to find another way to seal it up.

Had an issue with bag sent out not sealing. Amazon offered no way of returning nor any support. Contacted PHD directly using details on their website and they resolved within an hour. Impressive customer service from PHD, less so from Amazon
