I was a bit apprehensive at buying this since the other reviews mentioned chalky, goopy, non-chocolate tasting shakes but i still bought it was cheap.
I was suprised when i first mixed it (30g to roughly 250ml then another 100ml afyerwards to drink whats left on the sides of the bottle) and it was quite thin and not lumpy. The flavor wasnt the best but still decent and if i had to describe it, it tasted somewhat like Ferrero rocher.
Im definitely going to continue buying this and maybe experiment with the other flavours

Tastes great, mixes pretty easily and seems to do what it says.
I muxine with semi skimmed milk and it does taste like a chocolate shake.
One criticism I have is the bag. It really doesn’t seem to reseal that well and I’d suggest getting a good air tight container for this product.
I suppose the fact that I’ve ordered again albeit a different flavour shows I’m happy with it.

Typically I have been using MyProtein which has been decent, but for thought I would try this for a change. The bag isn’t great, but most aren’t, the Flavour was good to start with as well. It is a lot harder to mix though and good lord is the end result THICK. Added 1 scoop to about 200ml and was thick as cement. Added a little more now, which is better for consistency at least
Will probably go back to MyProtein after I have finished this pack though

I’ve decided to make my amazon reviews be a small blog of all the protein powders I try.
Today we have the Amazon brand, Amfit, Cookies and Cream flavour. What can I say? This flavour is almost a perfect mirror for how I feel about the duelling billionaires of our day: there’s no escaping them, you wish they’d never been a part of your life, but you’re going to do it anyways because it’s just impossible to resist.
I left team Gold Standard Double Chocolate protein, like many of you reading this, when the pandemic brought us the gift of gratuitous price hikes on our beloved bags of dried, flavoured, milk byproduct powder. I loved the flavour of Gold Standard, but I couldn’t justify the price anymore so I began to dabble. Like any self-loathing coke addict, I bought too much protein powders from the shadier areas of the interwebs, so when I saw the Amazon brand of protein my first thought was, “I guess I’m going to eat amazon protein now.”
The price per kilo of this flavour was low, like, scary low. And look, despite mr Bezos’s hulking spaceman biceps, I knew Amazon was not the right brand to buy protein powder from. But if you’re here, and if you’re reading this review, then you are as desperate as I was. I understand now why the price is so low; it’s pretty easy once you dig into the basic macro-economics and the nuances of the amazon pricing algorithm. Let me explain: this protein powder tastes like a foot, exiting a butt, stepping in puddle of urine, wearing a 12-year-old gym sock. So the price is good, because it is not. Basic Adam Smith market pricing forces at their finest. I tried some extensive, guerrilla tactics to mask or distract from the flavour and they all fell short (if you’re barely halfway through your own bag and coming here in desperation, the best additive was copious amount of cinnamon, and the worst was ANY attempt to make it taste chocolatey).
And the texture? a marvel of modern chemistry. Blend it for exactly one second too long, and you will create a substance and viscosity I thought was only achievable in the controlled vacuum of space. I recommend trialling this flavour when you are working on house renovations as it can easily be use for significant structural repairs if over-blended. Under-blended, and you have the joyous experience of eating pure, fish-flavoured chalk in water.
So why did I give it 3 stars? First, because you don’t insult your dealer. And because 53%. It was actually 53% cheaper than Gold Standard, and in this economic climate, I am very much for sale. I can choke down some pretty awful things for a 53% discount. If you must sell your soul to the Amfit brand, then try for the chocolate flavour, dear reader.

Yes, the seal on the bag is abit of a let down, but I transferred the contents to a large airtight food container and that solved it. For me, the flavour (vanilla) has been great, it really is. I could swear some of the negative reviews for this flavour are of a different product. That said, I do agree it is a tad on the sweeter side and could do with a bit of toning down. From experience I never blend my mixes, I’ve always used shaker bottles with those little mixer doodads in them and never once had an issue with clumps, not once! I am sure the protein numbers are there which is ok for my use case after my training runs. This will certainly be on my return basket

Received my order 2nd July, had my first shake this morning. Firstly the shake mixes really well, I use a nutribullet. I use unsweetened
soya milk, Nice consistency. However, I ordered chocolate, the flavour is so subtle, had someone given me a taste of the shake and asked me to tell them what flavour the shake was I would say vanilla. The manufacturer could do with adding more chocolate flavouring to the shake. The shake is very sweet and could do with the sweetness toning down a little. Other than that Price is great, mixes really well, nice consistency, the only let down is the flavour.

Decent taste protein. Good value for money. Mixing 2 scoops gets a bit tedious and you need to clean the shaker asap as it turns to paste inside the lid quick
