As a child I had hay fever, but- for about 25 years – I have had no hay fever symptoms at all.
We moved to rural Lincolnshire in 2021 and my hay fever suddenly kicked in horribly; we’re surrounded by trees, weeds, rape seed and grasses.
I don’t sneeze any more – I wheeze (I have asthma, and the symptoms have now necessitated a prescription for Fexofenadine AND several courses of oral Prednisolone), and I now have an additional inhaler. I don’t suffer an itchy soft palate or ears (as I did as a teenager)… now my eyes itch and I have a horrible build up of sludge in them.
I checked the internet for eye drops and one major brand was recommended; Artelac eye drops contain the same ingredients at 1/3 of the regular price of the named brand.
I bought one bottle to try them but have now added them to my Amazon subscription.

These are very soothing once they get to work. The ones from my pharmacy were prescribed by my doctor, they are good but more often the drop gets wasted cause too much or too little comes out. With these you can get out the right amount per drop as you just press it down instead of squeezing it. Despite the price, I hope they keep these on the market forever because they are great.

I found the bottle design as easy to use as Hycosan Extra. I think that the drops dispensed are slightly smaller than Hycosan but that’s fine with me. CAUTION- the bottle that I received had to be used within 2 months from when I received the package which was ok considering that I only bought the 1 bottle and I know that the contents would be used up by then, but I would have been unhappy if I had bought multiple bottles.

Easy to use and very effective, the way the pump is is very good, not too many misses. Definitely helps hayfever eyes/tired or sore. A good product to have in the cupboard.

The product is excellent. No side effects as experienced with other drops. My only complaint is the product has a life of 6 months but the product I received gives only 3 months before the expiry date
